Context
In Summer 2023, I interned as a UX designer, collaborating with a cross-functional team to redesign the quoting process for a leading national air cargo company’s web-based back-end system, aiming to improve employee experience.
my contributions
Over 10 weeks, I collaborated with a cross-functional team to analyze user research, map end-to-end flows in Figma, and develop wireframes and prototypes to improve the quoting process. I also conducted competitive analysis, worked closely with business analysts, and regularly shared findings and design solutions with stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the experience.

During my internship, I learned the value of clear communication through daily standups and feedback sessions, which helped me understand diverse perspectives. Coffee chats with experienced designers gave me guidance and encouragement to grow in my career. I also saw the power of storytelling when my user-centered narrative impressed stakeholders during the final presentation.
Above all, I realized that continuous learning is essential—especially when designing complex systems for diverse users across industries.
